H.I.G. Capital Acquires a Portfolio of 16 Retail Assets in Norway

LONDON – November 23, 2015 – H.I.G. Capital, LLC (“H.I.G.”), a leading global private equity investment firm with €17 billion of equity capital under management, announced today that an affiliate has completed the acquisition of a portfolio of 16 predominantly grocery store-anchored retail assets in Norway, let to the two leading grocery retailers in the country.

The transaction represents H.I.G. Capital’s 22nd real estate investment in Europe since the start of 2013. H.I.G. continues to add to its sizeable portfolio of Real Estate assets in Europe, consisting of both equity as well as debt investments, with a particular focus on its target market of value-added small/midcap opportunities.
