H.I.G. Realty Partners Sells Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Cocoa Beach, FL
NEW YORK – June 16, 2016 – H.I.G. Capital ("H.I.G."), a leading global private equity investment firm with $19 billion of equity capital under management, is pleased to announce that an affiliate, H.I.G. Realty Partners, (“H.I.G. Realty”) has completed the sale of the 296 room Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Cocoa Beach, FL. H.I.G. Realty implemented an extensive renovation program that addressed all guest rooms and common areas and included the addition of a new oceanfront food and beverage outlet. The net operating income of the hotel tripled during H.I.G. Realty’s ownership. This transaction represents H.I.G. Realty’s fifteenth successful realization or partial realization in the last two years.
